Q: I've never heard of this! What exactly is it?
A: Non-laser tattoo removal is a faster, safer, and more effective alternative to traditional laser tattoo removal treatments, ideal for small to medium body art and permanent makeup. It uses a proprietary blend of natural ingredients such as bentonite clay and activated charcoal to physically withdraw the pigment out of your skin. Essentially, the treatment (coupled with your home care product) forces the skin the purge the pigment so that it no longer exists in your body.

Q: Why is this better than laser tattoo removal?
A: Laser tattoo removal is not effective on all ink colors (the laser cannot "see" all colors) or all skin tones (less effective on darker tones), and has a high risk of burning or developing scars (due to high heat production). Non-laser removal does not rely on heat or the ability to detect ink colors; instead, special product is introduced into the skin with a tattoo machine and induces an immune response in the cells that forces the ink up to the surface of the skin where it then scabs and sloughs away. Laser tattoo removal treatments are very painful and require many treatments before any fading is noticeable (sometimes as many as 20-30 treatments). Our method averages 5-7 treatments (sometimes as few as 2!) with noticeable fading after just one session.
Q: Will it hurt?
A: Well....yes. But getting a tattoo in the first place hurts as well, we just tend to forget that part. Non-laser tattoo removal utilizes a tattoo machine, and a topical numbing cream is applied for 20-30 minutes prior to the treatment in order to keep you as comfortable as possible.
Q: Is it safe?
A: YES! Our tattoo removal utilizes a blend of natural ingredients (including activated charcoal and bentonite clay) and relies on your body's natural immune response to expel pigment out of your skin. It also has the lowest scar potential of any tattoo removal system on the market. Laser pulses can result in small ink fragments, which then migrate into deeper layers of tissue and sometimes wind up in lymph nodes. Also since some inks contain metallic components, the interaction with the laser produces significant amounts of heat, resulting in pain, burns, scarring, and other skin damage. Our method avoids all those potential complications because it does not produce heat.
Q: How many sessions will it take to remove my tattoo?
A: There are a lot of variables that go into total tattoo removal. Some things to consider: the size of the tattoo, location, age, if you've had any cover-ups, if there is any underlying scar tissue, the ink type, and MOST importantly, how you care for it at home after your treatment. After each session you will go home with a product to be used daily to continue the ink extraction process. Home care is critical! Non-compliance with home care will not get you the results you desire.
